Dile adiós al FRIZZ

Say goodbye to FRIZZ

We know we've all suffered from that annoying frizz at some point. First, we want you to be calm, as a little frizz in curly hair is more than normal. Let's talk about the causes so we can combat it when it gets out of control.

What causes frizz?

Humidity: If you live in a humid climate, you've probably encountered this cause of frizz. The higher the humidity, the more frizz you'll experience, as each strand fills with water from the environment, often causing loss of definition, making your hair frizzier, and making it look too voluminous. This happens because hair is porous, and through these pores, it absorbs moisture from the environment.

Hair damage. We've all experienced some chemical or physical treatment, such as straightening, coloring, or blow-drying. This type of damage causes hair to become more porous than normal, making it look dry, break easily, or even lead to alopecia (baldness). Frizz caused by hair damage is usually broken hair, so the way to treat it is to nourish the hair and stop the processes that caused the damage.

Recommendations to avoid and combat frizz!

  • Apply more quantity of styling cream (start by testing, first a quarter more, then half, and if you can't reduce the frizz, you can double the amount of cream applied); With this, we achieve molecular weight, so the hairs won't stand up easily, nor will water from the environment have easy access.
  • Apply Gel to create a protective layer to combat water in the environment. When the hair dries, it only breaks down the gel's hardness by 50%; the environment will take care of removing the remaining hardness.
  • Apply  jojoba oil After applying the cream, add a few drops of jojoba oil. This is absorbed very well due to its low molecular weight, and we will be able to seal the cuticle effectively.
  • Nourish with natural masks: By using the Curly Lovers Papaya Mask (on thin hair) or Curly Lovers mayonnaise (for thick hair), we'll restore the nutrients your hair needs to regain its elasticity, thickness, and lost vitality. To achieve good results, we must be consistent, doing it once a week. If your hair is severely bleached, I recommend applying it twice a week.
So say Bye Bye to frizz..
